Spring Break 2018

Spring Break. A week of slow mornings, quiet afternoons and lots of quality time with my boys. On summer break I try to put us on a schedule and make sure we have fun things and productive things going on each week. Spring break is different as it’s one week to just relax and recharge. I didn’t shower until almost 11am each day and I don’t feel bad about it. The weather wasn’t awesome, lots of rain, and we spent a lot of time indoors. More reason to slow down. Joshua played lots and lots of LEGOS and I was able to finish rearranging our rooms. Here’s a little look at what we did.

We started our first day of break with a dentist appointment for Joshua. Grady sat on my lap and watched because next time it will be his first turn with the dentist.

One day we were cooped up from the weather so we headed to the inside Aquatic Center and we had so much fun! The boys are total water babies and they loved it!

One day Grady looked at daddy’s Bass Pro Shops magazine all morning just admiring the tackle and fishing reels. Finally I told him we could go look at the fishing stuff! So we headed to Sportsman’s Warehouse!

Then we headed to Spot On Yogurt because it’s never too rainy for frozen yogurt!

Friday afternoon the sun FINALLY came out so we headed straight to the water for some bass fishing, just me and my boys.

Saturday we headed to the first bass weigh-in of the year. Nathan was fishing a bass tournament with Clearwater Bass Anglers on Dworshak Reservoir. The boys love dressing alike and we’re excited to pick out matching outfits. They were also excited because they got to spend their last night of spring break with Grandma and Grandpa at the cabin. I was headed to the Brett Eldredge concert in Pullman with my very good friend Brittnie and we had a blast!!

If you ever get a chance to see Brett Eldredge in concert DO IT!!! He was amazing and I absolutely loved his concert. Before I liked him, now I’m a huge fan!!

And that’s a wrap to our spring break! I tried to bring the boys some fun with lots of down time in between.
